Rhamnus frangula
The bark of buckthorn has a laxative, purifying effect. Can be used in constipation and obesity.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Buckthorn stimulates peristalsis and secreting functions of the colon, while preventing the re-absorption of water. The herb does not change the functions of the small intestine. A very good effect is observed in atonic chronic constipation. Laxative action is achieved 8-10 hours after taking tea from the herb.
Warnings and contraindications:
With prolonged use, the laxative action weakens, and side effects may occur – diarrhea, dehydration of the body, muscle weakness, impotence.

Method of use:
1 tablespoon of the herb is poured into 150 ml of boiling water for 10 minutes. Drink 150 ml of tea before meals 3 times a day.
